SO RECENTLY . . . ON APRIL 10, 2025 . . . here is what happened.

Dear #BTHCAG Friends, Advocates and Neighbors,
SO RECENTLY . . . the Brentwood Trinity Heights Community Action Group (BTHCAG), held its inaugural event entitled The Neighborly Business Exchange, which occured on Thursday evening at 6 PM at The Oak Cliff Assembly Facility, locate in East Oak Cliff.
So, I’m entering this weekend with a joyful pep in my step and a refreshed sense of what’s possible—because something powerful happened!
Our inaugural community exchange wasn’t just an event. It was a gathering of hearts, minds, and visionaries ready to see Brentwood and Trinity Heights shine. As we launched our new online business directory, the room buzzed with energy. The conversations were rich, the connections real, and the mission clear: to uplift the often-overlooked micro-economy thriving right here in our beloved neighborhoods.
We had wine and tacos to fill our bellies.
We had songs and soulful music to lift our spirits.
We had enlightening dialogue to stir our minds.
And most of all, we had community.
We gathered not just to talk—but to plant seeds. Seeds of collaboration, creativity, and bold action for the future we’re building together. I walked away inspired, and I know I wasn’t the only one.
This is only the beginning.
Through the Brentwood Trinity Heights Community Action Group, we’re forming real bonds—not just ideas or plans, but relationships that support and uplift. We’re here for individuals and businesses alike, creating a network of shared strength and neighborly resources that help us all rise.
Here’s my commitment: No one in this work should feel alone. We are only as strong as our most overlooked voice, and that’s why we’re building an organization where every contribution matters and every talent is honored.
To everyone who helped make this moment possible—
Whether you donated, joined as a member, helped spread the word, attended in person, or simply visited our website or social channels to learn more—thank you. Your support matters. It shows that we believe in each other. That we’re choosing unity over isolation. And that progress doesn’t belong to the few, but to all of us who are willing to show up and do the work.
If life has taught me anything, it’s this:
When we embrace each other fully—our gifts, our differences, our shared dreams—we unlock something greater than ourselves. That’s how we let the universe, and God, move through us. That’s how we rise—together.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in what we’re building. For believing in Brentwood. Trinity Heights. And in the beautiful future that lies ahead.
Just Another Caring Voice in the Community,
